IPAT publishes the premier assessment of normal adult personality, providing insights into behaviors for organizations selecting or developing employees, for colleges regarding student career identification and development, or for individuals/couples in counseling settings.
Over the last 63 years, IPAT has updated the 16PF® Questionnaire (currently on its 5th Edition and offered in 23 languages), and enhanced it by offering computer-generated interpretive reports suitable for a variety of applications. Today, qualified professionals use IPAT assessments and interpretive reports for employee screening, selection, and placement; performance management development; outplacement consulting; clinical counseling; career guidance; teamwork development; couple’s counseling; and more.
Pamela Becker, M.A. – President
With more than 25 years of experience, Pamela assumed leadership of IPAT with a unique understanding of the assessment industry based upon the broad range of positions she has held in management, product development, market development, state contract management, sales and marketing. Having worked domestically and internationally with both clients and partners, she is adept at managing the IPAT portfolio to provide high-quality products and services grounded in research and customer feedback. Pamela has presented at dozens of industry conferences and has served on local and national educational boards where her leadership qualities and industry knowledge are coveted. She earned her Master’s in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, Certificate in International Marketing from DePaul University, and Bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College.

Scott Stubenrauch, Psy.D., HSP – Chief Psychologist, Safety & Security
As a licensed clinical psychologist, Scott is well-versed in psychological assessment and evaluation work. His specialty has been in the public safety and security arena, where he has expertise working directly with clients on hiring practices. Scott has provided training for psychologists and human resources professionals, and has presented on assessment-related topics and industry “best practices” at national conferences. He earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Postgraduate Certificate in Forensic Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Roosevelt University.

Michael R. Stowers, Psy.D. – Senior Consulting Psychologist
As Senior Consulting Psychologist with IPAT, Mike’s responsibilities include consulting, client research projects, and assessment development, with a specialty in the public safety and security sector. For the past seven years, Mike has been a presenter at the annual meetings for the Society of Police and Criminal Psychology and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Mike is also an adjunct faculty member at Argosy University, where he teaches graduate seminars in Statistics, Job and Task Analysis, Research Methods, and Applied Industrial Psychology. Mike holds both a Psy.D. and a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
